7. Service-Specific Terms
7.1 Calm Conversation Toolkit Session
This session is an educational and supportive experience designed to help families approach sensitive conversations with care. The session does not constitute counselling, mediation, or any form of professional advice. A printed toolkit is provided for personal household use.
7.2 Household Paperwork Sorting Workshop
This small-group workshop provides informational guidance on organising household documents using plain checklists. It is not a legal, accounting, or financial advisory service. Referrals to official or professional resources are provided where formal guidance is appropriate. Printed materials are for personal use only.
7.3 Shared Arrangements & Summary Package
This package assists families in setting out plain-language summaries of shared communication and record-keeping arrangements. The written plan produced is an organisational aid only and does not constitute a legal document, contract, or binding agreement between family members. Kinora signposts to appropriate official resources as needed.
Where any service references official sources or external organisations, those references are provided for general informational purposes. Kinora is not affiliated with, and does not represent, any government body or registered professional service.
8. Disclaimers
Kinora's services and Website are provided on an "as available" basis. While we take care to ensure the quality of our sessions and materials, we make no representations or warranties — express or implied — regarding the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of any Content.
Our services are informational and organisational in nature. They are not a substitute for professional legal, financial, psychological, or other specialist advice. Participants are encouraged to seek qualified professional guidance for matters that fall outside the scope of general information and communication support.
Outcomes from our sessions depend on many factors beyond our control, including individual circumstances and family dynamics. We do not make any representations about what results any participant may experience.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Kinora will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from your use of our Website or Services, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or loss of anticipated savings.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
Events beyond our reasonable control — including natural events, illness, or disruption to venue access — may affect our ability to deliver sessions. We will communicate promptly and work with you to find a suitable arrangement.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kinora, its staff, and representatives from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable costs) arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of our Services, or any false or misleading information you provide when booking or participating.
11. Termination
Either party may end a service engagement by providing written notice. If you choose not to continue with a booked service, the cancellation terms in Section 6 apply.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service if a participant's conduct is disruptive, abusive, or inconsistent with the respectful and calm environment we maintain for all families. In such cases, a pro-rated refund for unused portions of a service may be offered at our discretion.
Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution will remain in effect after termination.
12. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand.
Before pursuing any formal process, we ask that you contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve any concern informally. We genuinely want to address issues with care and promptness.
If informal resolution is not possible, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration as agreed between the parties prior to initiating court proceedings.
